  • Art of the Northeast, Silvermine Arts Center, New Canaan, CT, June 2014

Two of Ms. Cooper's pieces were included in Silvermine Arts Center's esteemed Annual Art of the Northeast. The 2015 show was juried by Brad Killiam and Michelle Grabner. Ms. Cooper won the Builder's Prize. Michelle Grabner, juror of the 2014 Whitney Biennial said the following about Ms. Coopers work:
"These works are very strong for me …it’s the confidence of the paint, the speed at which it is painted and it's kind of idiosyncratic—both drawn and painted --with a heightened sense of color. But what is different is the introduction of screens as little escape elements." (Michelle Grabner, juror of the 2014 Whitney Biennial)
